For the entire month of January, Chatham Area Silent Pantry has been selected to receive a $1 donation from every purchase of the $2.50 Fight Hunger Bag at Hannaford’s Valatie Store. The more people who purchase the Fight Hunger Bag in January, the greater the donation we will receive from Hannaford!

Help support our Pantry by purchasing a bag this Month!

Thank you to the Lions Club for helping to purchase and distribute turkeys to Pantry Clients on Saturday, Nov 23,2024. Thank you also to Dairy Queen for donating ice cream and Price Chopper for donating some gift cards. About 80 clients each received a turkey, a container of ice cream and a Price Chopper gift card for their Holiday Meals.

New signs for the Pantry

To help clients locate us, new signs were purchased for the Pantry. A committe of Board Members researched and purchased the signs designed to match the current Village of Chatham signs. Thank you to the Village of Chatham for installing both the sign in the front and the one on the door to the pantry. See the NEWS page for a photo of the installation!

Chatham Art Students brighten Pantry

Chatham High School Art Students created images of healthy foods to decorate the Pantry waiting room. Accompanied by their teachers, Tina Fahey and Christina Scott, the students visited the pantry on June 6, learned about our services and hung their creations. Thank you for brightening our waiting room!
